About Us
The ONLY organization representing all ACTIVE and RETIRED employees covered by PERS
The Mississippi Retired Public Employees’ Association (MRPEA), founded in 1985, is a non-profit organization that serves to support and protect the existing defined benefit plan administered by the Public Employees’ Retirement System of Mississippi (PERS).
MRPEA works tirelessly to protect PERS. In 1986, MRPEA members worked diligently for passage of an amendment to the Mississippi Constitution protecting the PERS trust fund. Since then, MRPEA has supported efforts to safeguard and improve benefits while maintaining the fiscal integrity of PERS.
